The Classic Tales of Yes Tour
This is the most recent book I have produced. Measuring 12 x 12 inches and containing 128 pages, I conceived and designed the book, as well as providing original studio portrait and live concert photography, and co-writing a lengthy written history.

Relayer
This is the first hardbound book the band has ever produced.
96 pages in length, it is luxuriously smythe-sewn with a fine-knit gold embossed cover. The overall content inspired the band to opt for the highest quality production they have ever offered.

Close to the Edge
In 2022, Yes wanted to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of their landmark album, Close to the Edge.
I interviewed the band members in an effort to demystify the process of creating this seminal masterpiece. The result is a 128-page book, measuring 12 x 12 inches, deconstructing and uncovering the history surrounding one of rock’s most highly regarded and influential achievements, and celebrating the occasion.

Fiftieth Anniversary, Japanese Edition
The fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the band was an important occasion, and the band has a close and unique bond with Japan and their Japanese fans. I wanted to provide something unique and special for them, and I wrote and produced a book that solely highlighted the band’s rich and lengthy Japanese history. I even recreated the band’s iconic logo using Japanese characters, to match the traditional anniversary logo, which was a big hit with the fans.

The Fiftieth Anniversary of Yes
The band wanted something unique and special for the grand occasion of their fiftieth anniversary. I had never produced a concert program that was not of a relatively conventional size and format, but now, I felt liberated to shake off the constraints and design a book that told their story in a manner that truly honored the individuals and their long history. I wrote approximately 50,000 words, relying largely on original interviews, across 148 pages. It was the featured product on their world tour, and is thought to be the largest concert program ever produced.

World Tour 2016
I wanted a more modern, streamlined approach to this book’s design, to reflect some internal changes to the band. These changes also fit well within the overarching series of concert tour books I have created, keeping it fresh and original.

The Album Series Tour
One of the challenges of creating a new book every year is coming up with a new concept each time. Programs from other bands often carry over some elements year after year, such as the band history and individual biographies. I would never deliver a book that was not completely original. I want an entirely new approach from the ground up for each new concert tour, and I challenge myself to deliver that every time, hopefully topping the preceding book in the process.

Masterworks
Following a series of programs that told the history of the band in a lengthy narrative format, I employed a then-unusual visual timeline approach in telling the band’s history. Their graphic style is rich and deep, and it was an innovative way to design a book. This book was awarded Best Design in a printer industry competition, and other top bands employed a similar style the following year.

Asia - Phoenix
When ‘80s “supergroup” Asia reunited twenty-five years after they first took the music world by storm, they wanted a high-quality book to mark the occasion. They had already begun performing, so I photographed some concerts and designed a book around their striking graphics.
